Graphic Design Support / Vehicle Wraps
Raystede is an animal welfare charity and working rescue centre, helping around 2,000 local animals every year. They care for a diverse range of animals, from dogs, cats and horses to alpacas, goats and exotic birds, their dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to make sure each one gets the happy life they deserve. Based in Ringmer, East Sussex, they have been running for over 70 years.
Raystede had two different vans used for transporting rescued animals, charity shop donations and at local events. These were currently unbranded and felt they were missing an opportunity to use them as mobile adverts.
Working within their brand guidelines, we sourced the relevant vehicle outlines and set about creating some impactful designs. We also guided them to ensure messaging was clear and simple, which is a must on a moving vehicle. All the images used were of animals that had been in their care at some point.
With vehicle wraps it’s very important to work with the contours, so the placement of important information isn’t lost in grooves or panel breaks. For these vans it was important to avoid the contours distorting the faces of the animals.
Full vehicle wraps are expensive to fit, especially if information needs changing or replacing. With this in mind the vehicles were first wrapped in their core blue and all other information and images placed separately over the top.
